The Extern heavy duty chain post with recycled base has all the features of the Extern with metal base, except that the base is manufactured in recycled material, and the post has a single chain eye cap which allows 6mm chain to be pulled through. This feature allows the posts to be positioned regardless of the chain length. Connecting links or chain hooks are needed to secure the chains to the end posts.

The Extern is a very versatile barrier system and is perfect for creating temporary or semi-permanent barriers. The posts are easily inserted and removed from the base.

The base is manufactured from heavy duty recycled rubber and features a recessed grip for ease of carrying. The posts are hot dip galvanised and are powder coated in a choice of two highly visible colourways, either red/white or yellow/black. Our M-Deko chain is ideal for use with this barrier system and is available in our Barrier Chains section here.

The Extern heavy duty chain post is ideal for a multitude of uses including cordoning off pedestrian and vehicular vehicle areas, warehouses, production units, public spaces etc.
